Compressor Selection for 72" Groundwater Cooling Project, Australia

Enhancing Energy Efficiency: Developing a 72-Inch Groundwater Cooling System for Industrial Applications

Compressor Selection for 72" Groundwater Cooling Project, Australia

This project centers on developing a 72-inch groundwater cooling system for industrial facility cooling, designed to sustainably utilize groundwater resources while maximizing energy efficiency. The system’s purpose is to reduce environmental impact while meeting the cooling demands of large-scale industrial operations.

As a Piping Engineer, I was responsible for selecting compressors that would ensure optimal system performance. This involved evaluating performance specifications, analyzing flow rates, cooling capacities, and energy consumption to identify the best equipment for the project. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, I ensured that the chosen compressors align with the project’s sustainability goals and operational needs, contributing to an innovative approach in groundwater resource management.
